Medplaya Hotel Pez Espada, Torremolinos

The hotel offers excellent rooms with superb views and comfortable beds. However, it would be better if the lounge room had the same amenities, especially for families with children. Despite the slight disappointment of a camp bed for one child, the early check-in was convenient. The room was a bit too hot and lacked the option of adjusting the temperature.

The hotel is kept very clean and located in the newest extension block. The rooms were outdated with the air conditioning dripping water continuously, though we reported the issue, we were told not to worry about it. The electric appliances and water facilities were not in good condition. However, the service throughout the hotel was wonderful and friendly. The location is fantastic, right on the beach, with walking distance to shops, pharmacy, bars, restaurants, and Marina. The dining experience offered excellent quality and variety, but there were some inconveniences with room allocation and noise. As for facilities, they were suitable for basic needs.

The hotel is ideally located right on the promenade and a stone's throw from the beach in Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol. The hotel's facilities were well-kept, particularly the recently redecorated lobby, providing a pleasant atmosphere overall.

The location was ideal for beach access but dining issues and service hiccups left a bit of a sour taste.
